Care on ward is excellent. Was admitted through A&E and communication from surgical team was not good - operation delayed repeatedly with no information. Nursing staff supportive & tried to get info as far as possible.

I attended A&E presenting a difficult condition to diagnose, from the moment I stepped in to the time I left 2 days later I recieved the highest standards of care from every member of staff I encounted from the hotel services team to the consultants and everyone in between. I stayed in MAU and because the medical staff persisted in diagnosing my condition (spontanious internal dissection of the carotid artuary) I left with a full treatment program. I am not clinical but work at another foundation trust and as part of the PEAT (PLACE) team know a bit about hospitals.
For me I loved the single rooms and looked forward to the meals , well done to the kitchen. All the ward staff were proffessional and helpfull. Pembury has had some difficult times but a hospital is built on its staff and I found them all to be brilliant.
To the CEO and director of nursing please pass on my thanks and I look forward to my follow up visits
